The Neck Wrap using the Mirotec space blanket technology is a therapeutic wrap beneficial for horses and ponies with stiff and tight neck muscles, it promotes flexibility and improved performance.
By stimulating blood flow the Neck Wrap can help alleviate stiffness and promote relaxation, assisting in the recovery of horses with neck muscle issues. The Neck Wrap can also be used as a warm-up tool before riding or as a post-competition aid for recovery.

The Neck Wrap is particularly effective for addressing ‘cresty necks’ in ponies, where fat deposits can cause stiffness and limited mobility.

MIRoTEC utilises a micro-perforated, metallised reflective foil laminated to a supportive polyester substrate. When placed against the body Mirotec reflects infra-red radiation and by reflecting heat boosts blood circulation whilst allowing water vapour and moisture to pass through the laminate.

The effects of reflecting back body heat are to increase tissue temperature, cause blood vessel dilation and increase the local circulation which aids the delivery of needed tissue nutrients and the removal of tissue waste products and toxins.
